             I am an experienced and reliable pet sitter, dog walker, and all around pet friend.  Before moving to C-U and starting Your Pet’s Best Friend, I walked dogs in Washington, DC.  Politicians, minor celebrities, and many other DC residents trusted me with their favorite pets.  I gained experience working with a variety of animals and tailoring my services to the clients requests.  I was a full-time dog walker/pet visitor Monday thru Friday, with additional pet sitting assignments as needed. Pet owners were devastated to learn that I was leaving the area.

           Since starting Your Pet’s Best Friend in August of 2006, I have helped out over 100 Champaign, Urbana, Savoy  pet owners.  Each month is busier than the last and this has quickly became a full-time business. 

 

           There are many great things about being a professional dog walker and pet sitter.  The most rewarding thing is being to help people when they feel like they are out of options. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard “I don’t know what we would have done if someone like you wasn’t around.” or “ It’s so helpful that your service exists.”  It’s a great feeling to know that I am providing a service that people really need and appreciate. 

 

           Another great thing about my job is getting to know so many pets.  Going to a client’s home where there is an excited pet wanting to be walked or played with always brings a smile to my face.  Pets are always happy to see me because they come to realize that I am there only for them.  Dogs know that when I show up we go for a nice long walk. Cats know that it is time for food, playing, or petting.  I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
